never met the guy.
he's one of my best friends from HSs brother in law. he's with the 1st cav over in baghdad. friday he was hit with an IED and suffered some pretty serious wounds. i can't find anything on the internet, all i know is what was reported on the local news and what the family has been told. they don't know how bad but they do know he suffered at least a broken leg and pelvis including facial wounds. he is currently in germany getting medical attention we do know he's alive and that he's at least in stable condition but really nothing else. i've never met him, you've never met him, but prayers from all of us couldnt hurt a damn thing, so if yall would...................... i will look on the local news websites for more info................thanks in advance |

If he made it to the hospital he's got a 99% chance, thank God and the Army...
Prayers sent. He'll do fine. Keep us updated with a status of his condition?
I think information on the wounded ones, and even the fatalities, is wayyy under-reported..probably on purpose. Hope he recovers though. |
Does his family have any news on his condition? Car bombs... geeez... I his squad got some payback at the idiots that set the bomb up or off.
Prayers sent! Post with an update on his condition when available!
It is my duty and honor to remember this man and all who are in harm's way in my prayers. Thank God for every last one of them. My your friend recover quickly and completely. Please pass along our thanks to him through whomever you can.
Fingers crossed!
If he was stable enough to be medevaced out of country, hopefully that's in itself a good sign! Here's hoping that he will have no permanent damage or impairement, and will be with his loved ones soon. |
Whomever he may be....prayers sent to him and his family. |
I worry for my my brother and another friend over there right now, but they are keeping it toasty and watching their six's - hopefully I'll see them both very soon.
Prayers sent Red..let us know if there's anything we can do. Let his family know there are people who are praying for them. I will take his name and his family's name to our church prayer meeting tomorrow night. Done deal.

Gladly. I pray that The Lord will be with his family in the coming days as they deal with the uncertainty, and I pray that this young man (and all of the rest of our troops) will find his way safely home to his family. |

Prayers sent for Jarrett, and for all our heros in the sandbox.

If this offends anyone, I apologize in advance, but I learned it from a vet so I thought it patricularly appropriate:
Yea though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I will fear no evil, for I am the Meanest SOB in the Valley. I will pray hardily for the SSG CPL Colin S. Kelly Assistant Security Squad Leader HHD, 2nd MP BDE Ohio Military Reserve |
Tex, prayers for all of our brave men and women in harms way... but an extra for these you ask for.
I thank the LORD for the Mercy..........Hopefully he can come home soon and get on ARF.com with all of us and eat a good Home made meal. Prayers already spoken
If I could say one thing to him right now it would be, "Thank you".
I have the utmost respect for our young men & women in the military. My family will be praying for you Jarrett and your family. Get well soon! |
I'm really pulling for the guy to have a speedy recovery. Hopefully once healed, he'll be good as new again. My prayers are with his family and friends.
I am getting so sick of good men like this being injured and killed by a bunch of coward terrorists and their roadside bombs and car bombs. |
God bless him and his family, help him heal quicky, and may He keep him safe while he is in harms way.
