The thread topic is which countries use the M16 as their Standard Service Rifle. Although the countries listed above have probably purchased M16's not all of them have it issued as their standard weapon. Ones that I know of, Australia, Ireland and Oman use the Steyr Aug Germany, G36 Norway NJ3 (Norwegian HK G3) although they will be replacing these with Diemaco C7 & C8 Brazil, FAL I think UK,SA80 Singapore SAR80 Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, HK G3 and HK G33

Turkey is still the G3 (locally produced)
