I was just thinking about momentous occasions here on arfcom...and thought about the time when the arfcom community gathered together to make a collection for the Hathcock family upon his death.

Anyone else around for that event?  Contribute?

I was under a different screenname at the time...which I believe I changed when the board switched to a new format.

Anyways, I was the jackass who contibuted...I think...$25.37...the extra $.37 is the usual amount I tack on to charitable contributions so...if there is a total...I can "see" it on the grand total.

I even got an email from his son to thank me...and that his family found the extra .37 rather amusing.  I wish I had saved that.
