2) Just do the change of address with the BATF. You do not need to inform the CLEO of anything. You already have the license. When you send a letter to the CLEO when applying for your license it's just a "courtesy" letter to let them know you are getting one.

I admit that I am getting mixed signals from BATFE-- but I'm in a silimar situation.

Answer #1: File "application for an amended federal firearms license"

Answer #2:  Do #1 plus the citizenship form and proof of safe storage form.

ADMITTEDLY, I AM GETTING TWO DIFFERENT ANSWERS.  However, I'm going to get hold of some chief inspector muckety-muck tomorrow morning and find out exactly what needs to be done.

Sympathies, man.  I think you have to file in TX;  those plans are run on a state-by-state basis.  I could be wrong, however.

Otherwise you could move to WA, which has the highest unemployment payout in the nation, almost $500 per week.

I just did a change of addy form two weeks ago. No you dont have to notify, just fill out the "addedum" form and mail it back in. Within a few weeks they will have the new one sent to you.
