One thing you have to realize if Miss America is first and foremost a business. It's not a beauty pageant or a scholarship pageant unless it can make money. I heard an interview with the Miss Minnesota contestant who competed against Vanessa Williams. She said the buzz around the pageant was a black woman would win that year, it was only a matter of picking one. It's not always obvious, but many years you can guess which one will win simply by reading the news. Figure out which contestant will work to solve that years hot issue, family, disease, poverty, etc. So what was this years Miss America's issue? |

That is absolutely true. I worked as a photographer for a few "beauty" contests including Miss America, and I can tell you that their is nothing "beautiful" about it. Fake boobs, cock sucking , backstabing, etc. It turned me off to the beauty contest things afetr seeing all that. We don't wactch those kind of things at home. |

No. Not when they found out I was working for a small media outlet and couldn't get them much exposure.  I did get some action when I worked for the AVN awards a few years back though. Man, their are some strange freaks out there.

My wife's a pageant director for our city so I am forced to watch this shit on occassion. The runner up to this girl was HOT. I'm not sure why she didn't win. The wife said it was that talent section that lost it for her. all I saw was this hot chick bouncing around.....

I have lived in the Atlantic city area my whole life, by sister was involved in the pageant,,,,I have never watched it and could care less...it is bs... they are fakes trying to get somewhere...and there are better looking women on the beaches here...especailly thong beach in Margate.

Being quite serious here, the new Miss America is not even a 6 out of 10 for looks. While her academic record looks fine, there were women with equal records who were much more attractive.
BTW: "Curing Childhood Cancer?" WTF? Who is for cancer? How is running your mouth going to help that? Is there some lack of awareness that cancer is bad? |
