The movie "Anything Else" is on HBO right now with Jason Biggs & Christina Ricci.  It's a Woody Allen film, and of course he plays a role.  His character takes Bigg's character to a Army Surplus store in New Jersey to get him a "Russian Surplus" rifle (which turns out to be an SKS) as well as some "survival supplies".  He makes a very good argument for owning a firearm, and Biggs even says to his girlfriend's mother "do you have a problem with owning a fire extinguisher?" when she objects to the rifle.

I haven't seen the entire movie yet, but I thought the scene was a riot.

I hope not.
Who's next Michael Jackson pro-gun?
OJ? - wait, he prefers other weapons.

It's a movie that he presumably wrote.  I find it rare that someone who is anti-gun would be able to write a scene like that so well.

There's a hillarious line where Bigg's character refers to loading a round into the "breech" and Allen's character corrects him and says "chamber".

Sorry dude. Even that's not enough to get me to watch a Woody Allen movie.

I can't see W.A. being pro-gun. He is WORSHIPPED by Hollyweirds farleft/socialists. That should say something.

Huh, no clue. I would have assumed that he was an anti, but I have no idea.

Movie any good besides that?

I thought it was pretty good.  Allen's character is quite a riot, and Biggs actually does a better job than I would have given him credit for.

it's been quite a long time since I've seen that one, I'll have to rewatch it.  What made it anti-gun?

Is sleeper the one where he had the line about the NRA being an organization that gave guns to criminals?  It's been a while.
