It is (a dupe) but it doesn't matter, that truck is unbelievable.

I can't think of how I could use it, but I am sure I'd find something.

My father has driven tractor-trailers and tri-axle dumps/concrete mixers since he was 18. Since 1980, he's owned a concrete foundation company. I've owned a concrete finishing company since 1999. Between us, we own and drive over half a dozen 3/4 and 1 ton pickups and a Kenworth boom truck.

I see no practical use for that Navistar vehicle. Calling it a "pickup" is like calling a battleship an armed boat.

I was merely quoting the article.  This truck is completely ridiculous to me and I'd take a real Hummer over it anyday.

I can see a market for this.   Unlike the Hummer H2, it's a REAL vehicle with REAL towing capacity.

Some people will actually be able to exploit its 20 ton towing capacity.

I'm amused, but I don't really want one.   However I wouldn't turn one down if it were given to me, either.

I doubt the Navistar is all that good as an off-road vehicle, though...

Kenworth and Peterbuilt should follow this!

My father has always said that if he won the lottery, he'd have a custom RV built starting with a Kenworth truck as the basis of it.

I think freightliner already has, i seem to recall a blrb in a trade magazine some where about it.

However id rather have one of these.

That clears some stuff up. I saw one of these parked in a neighborhood today. I couldn't figure out what kind of parking ticket to give it, so I just let it go. Since I checked the link, I know it is in violation of at least two ordinances and I'll tag it tomorrow morning when I go back to work.

Don't know who this was directed at, but just because I posted that I saw no practical use for one DOES NOT mean I don't think you should be able to purchase one.
