Yeah. I'll get right on that.

One thing I've been wondering is whether we will soon see reasonable priced M-1A magazines (not Chinese).

I was at Keith's Guns in northern Oregon the other day and bumped into one of the Springfield reps.

I asked him about 20 rounders and he said they'll "likely have something coming out in a couple of months".

He had no idea what the MSRP would be, though.

Springfield isn't terribly interested in selling mags. But it makes it look good if you sell products related to your company. If they charge high prices, they'll have low sales but a good profit margin....and what seems most important to them, not be hassled with accessories sales.

Wow.
I never realized how many people posted here that I would rather not know.
I try to share the rules and courtesy of the Industry forum regarding bashing dealers/vendors/manufacturers and I am chastised.

What duplicitous fucks you are. Wow!

For you M14 magazine fans, SAW has postban Checkmate hi-caps in stock. We bought a bunch a few months ago for $29. Basically a Milspec magazine, but with a LEO stamp. Of course, as soon as they arrived, I found a bunch of FREE NIW M14 magazines through DRMO.

Crap, just checked their website and they bumped the price $9. Still, if you are interested, check them out at: SAW LE Sales M14 magazines

springfield?

just a few months ago, i wanted an M1a
then i read around and lots of folks been having complaints aboout their stuff(extractor, etc); some say: "its got a lifetime warrenty"
that is stupid
if i'm going to pay $1200+ for a gun, it better damn well work w/ in a reasonable amt of time/shots
screw the warrenty; they should get it right the FIRTST time for a grand!

and thier prices are too damn much; quality sucks(hell, most of their guns are not even made in the USA)

besides $30 for orlites is stupid

I Like My Springfield M1A alot And If I had Extra Money I Probly Get a Springfield M1A Reciver and Build It Wit US GI Components .  I saw A Thread Some Time Back and People were saying That They Had Problems with Bolts But I dont Know if There Is any truth to that. The Only Problem I had With My M1A Is  The Gas Piston  Jamed Up and That was My Fault becaues I was shooting It In the rain and when I was Cleaning It I did Not Remove The Gas Piston I will never do That Again . I had To  Replace The Piston And The Piston Tube  With USGI Componets Set Me Back Around about $80.00 .
