A few blocks away from where I live a guy has a yard full of Mustangs and Camaros.  They are all 60's models.  The city made him put a fence around the place because it was an eyesore.  The cars just sit there out in the weather rotting away.  The worst part is the guy doesn't even live in Missouri anymore he lives in Texas and the cars are not for sale.

Hell with ny new gun laws.It should be a crime to let this happen(cruelty to cars) or something with the penalty being death. There is a old man not to far from where I live that has some of the rarest cars every GSX with stage 2 motors, 70 chevelle LS-6 etc. I offered the guy 50,000 dollars for these, all he did was get his shotgun and tell to leave. I was PISSED.

I know, it's disgusting. My dad was a Plymouth salesman when the Superbird came out. He brought one home as a demo one night. I was 7. It was sweet! They came with a Hemi, didn't they?

The really sad thing is that all these cars were shiney and NEW at one time. It just kills me to go down the road and see all types of cars in horrible shape. I know some damage and decay is the result of natural use, but there are just too many neglected cars of all types out there. People obviously don't care, because its not that hard to keep a car in decent running shape.

Damn!  That is sad.

I drove a '69 GTO convertible in Hawaii for about a year.  The owner was overseas for that time.   What a machine.

If anyone knows of one for sale, I have the income to afford one now.

What a machine.

Sadly now...there can be but one outcome. What the hell is wrong with you people? It is your moral obligation as men to stop this kind of crap. I say we eat some red meat, drink a beer, smoke a cigar, have sex with our women, and then go out there and KILL THE BASTARDS responsible for such crimes against manhood. This has to be stoped. Now Im gonna go and get to work on my list. LOL.

Buying a car just sitting in a guys drive way for years is how I got my '71 440 Dodge Challenger. Although she'll never be a best of show or fully restored (original 340 was sold years before I got it) it's my pride and joy and to see cars like those makes me sick but also glad that they're not crushed...yet.
I worked on that guy for 4 months and he finally gave in for only $2900 and he also threw in a 383 block, 340 block and 2 magnum rims.

I have a question for all you Dodge fans. I now someone who has a 67 GTX that came from the factory with a 426 hemi. The hemi was sold about 25 years ago but the rest of the car is still there and I was wondering what it would be worth. It has the been out in the weather but is still in good shape. I have heard they only made 500 of these in 67. There also is a guy in town who has a 69 Pontiac Trans Am that he bought as a demo in 70 and has under 20000 miles on it. He keeps it in the garage and he hardly ever takes it out but I did see it at a car show once. The rumor was that the factory tried to give him $50000 for it and he turned it down, but then you never know about rumors.
