That magazine used to piss me off, as it was exclusively about weapons we (the People) could not get during the ban.  Kind of like a JBT catalogue, marketed to everyone to say HAHA, look what we got!  YOU can't have it.

So, what are they going to call in now?  Guns and Weapons for Everyone?

I actually read a short article in there where they blatantly advocated Citizen concealed carry as an effective deterrent to reducing crime.

Yeah, but, I was still jealous.  Besides, I don't read articles in gun mags, that would be like reading articles in a Playboy.

My point is, there should be no difference between weapons used by LEOs and weapons available for citizens.  The content of the mag really didn't bother me that much as much as the principle behind it.

I have to admit that I always felt funny looking at it in the store since I am not a cop. Kinda like a kid looking at a porno, you know it wasn't intended for you.

No way, they are definitely pro-gun for civilians.

BUT they are (like most gun mags) whores to the manufacturers.

Case in point.  They gave a good review to the Special Weapons MP5 clone even though it had all types of extraction/ejection problems in the test.  And the last issue had a positive review of the Hipoint carbine, and one of their $100 throw aways (a .380 I think).  I didn't read that article.

Besides my sister had her picture in an article in it once.

Hey, saying SW and Hi point in the same paragraph gives Hi Point a bad name

I bought an issue and had it on my coffee table.  A friend of my wifes' came by and while we were talking she asked if I was a police officer.  I told her no, and asked why?  She asked 'why would you read something like that?'
I asked her if only professional athletes should read Sports Illustrated.  She said 'no, that's silly.'

I told her 'that makes my point'

/also had Small Arms Review on the table, damn that stuff makes me drool
mmmmmmm.....machinegun

I have found some thing in the Mag to be great, others not. Last month they had an article on the "New USCG battle rifle" which was they LW.499. The thing was a turd and was never bought , But they made the thing sound like it was slicker than whale shit. It never made it through a magazine without jamming.

less people will buy these magazines;  people will spend the money on no-ban guns and ammo and mags

As far as toys and job-related articles, Police Marksman is better. G & WFLE waters down its material due to its general supermarket trailer park readership, which is its primary audience, in spite of its name.
