well, you can have a bayonet lug, threaded barrel, flash suprossor, car stock. thats about it. not much for double the price, eh. you might consider a post ban, as they are much more practical. im not sure if the LEGP is still available, but is so, its a good rifle that will cost you less that a pre ban lower. you should check out the LEGP forum

If you by just the lower make sure it was a complete gun before the ban.
If not you got a old and expensive "post-ban" lower. |

If you don't care about adding a bayonet or collapsing stock, go with the POST-ban. You can add one of the LEGAL muzzle brakes that look like the A2 flash suppressor, and have a rifle that looks like a pre-ban. Remember, a lot of pre-bans don't have collapsible stocks. Your post-ban would look just like them at a fraction of the cost.

So is it legal to put a flare launcher on my post-ban? Grenade launcher = 40mm and Destructive Device. Flare launcher = 37mm and not Federally restricted. You can put it on anything (local laws permitting), it just has no practical value. |
