As much as I liked the series, it was an example of that era of Hollywood that glorified gun use and exotic weapons in the hands of bad guys that gave the general public the idea that guns ...and certain evil guns at that...in the hands of criminals were a bigger problem than they were in reality. I don't think that its any accident that after a series like Miami Vice came out, along with some of the sensationalistic big gun/ big explosions movie fare that was starting to be released in the 80's that the general public started screaming for bans of "evil" guns.....but, all of that aside, I DID like the series.

If this is for real I say make it a comedy. Put the other Wilson brother in it, the one that wasn't in Starsky and Hutch. Get Trey Parker to write it and go to town.

Dukes of Hazard, Miami Vice. What's next,.......Hunter? Yeah, I was a big fan of MV. It helped me in studying the various firearms everybody used. One of my favorite episodes was when an arms dealer was in a warehouse demonstraiting the MAC-10. He had maniquines strung up and was going at them with a mac in each hand. Pretty cool for me back then. Another one was when Sonny still had his original car, the black one. There was this former officer that went crazy and was helping Sonny and Rico track down this BG. They used a Dire Straits song called "Brothers in Arms" toward the end of the show. That song mixed with the growl of Sonnys car was really cool. Anyway, my 2 cents. Take care.

My favorite was the one that had the bad guy holding a little girl hostage and told Crocket that "all i have to do is twitch and she's dead". Crocket says, "maybe you wont flinch", and pops the scrote in the melon. |

I cant stand either one of those assbags. Michael Mann is great. If he makes another move I will pay $ to see it. He directed Collateral. Decent story. Very good pistolcraft by Tom Criuse. He must have gotten some lessons |

He got professional instruction with live ammo before the film. Kind of like he learned to drive a stock car before "Days of Thunder" and a motorcycle for the "Mission: Impossible" films. Angelina Jolie learned guncraft from the HK International Training Division for "Tomb Raider". |

Crocket wasn't gay! I just hope it isn't made into a comedy. I hate the new trend of taking half decent, popular TV shows and ruining them by making comedys out of them for the big screen. |
