I believe that would be about 255 miles.

370.5 kilometers up, which is 230.22 miles, as of 5:22 UTC and it's over Australia. Whether or not that's "high up" depends on your perspective.

Lets also remember that Ivan is roughly the size of the Gulf of Mexico, edge to edge.
