Oh we have tried as well as me. They keep on saying we are focusing on arming our men in uniform right now. She said we are still offering our match target line to which I replied who wants that piece of shit it has muzzle break and a Fake 6pos stock

My brother in vegas is super interested in aquiring a LE only model for his collection...we in CT can't aquire colts...they're more dangerous than the other AR type rifles

A more effective call would be to say "I wanted to buy one of your guns, but for some reason you only sell them to law enforcement. So I bought one from your competitors instead. I will urge all my gun-owning friends to do the same."

I wouldn't buy a Colt if they were making no-bans available to the public freely. I'm certainly not going to waste my time begging them to consider selling their product to me.

I called colt earlier today I told them they are arming the wrong people, J/k. I asked when they are going to release a no ban model and they said its been out for some years now, they were talking about the match target, So I said I wasn't satisfied and if they did not start producing what the law abiding citizens want they will lose there business like they lost mine.
Thats all talk though cause i'm getting me a 6920

That is what real parts cost. Factory Colt mags at DEALER PRICE are $21.00. Now you can buy aftermarket stocks and surplus mags for half that but this is what NEW stuff from a quality manufacturer costs. |

My FFL is selling Colt LE for $900 and Bushmaster LE for $800 so I will just buy the Bushmaster.

Colt mags are made by either Okay or General Stampings, they do not make their own. They also happen to make the same ones sold by DPMS. DPMS dealer cost on 30s is $6.99. I guess I just don't get it. As for the stocks, I'm not at liberty to discuss that. Either way, you're paying for a name in this case. |

Just do what i did, ran down to the local gunshop to get a Military Configuration XM-15A2 Bushy for $850 Flashider, Bayo lug all of it and it even had "For Law Enforcement/Government Use only" as a bonus!
 Oh and just to piss the liberals off even more i Also bought the Bayonet and a Blank Adapter, just for the benefit of any Liberals I had in the audience! Man you should have seen the faces of some of the people as i walked down a public street with it to my vehicle!  I could have bought it under the ban since i'm a elected peace officer but i promised my shooting compatriots i would not buy anything they couldn't under the ban and i kept my word!

Colt is trying to manupulate the market into taking their old neutered rifles...
They figure that if they restrict sales to 'Match Targets', folks who MUST have a Colt will buy out the old MTs made up untill the death of the ban... I predict Colt will not offer no-bans until they are fresh out of 'Match Target' guns... It would not make sense to keep making a line for the MTs, if you could have one line for all semiautos.... |
