Nah, if it's in as good condition as it looks, being an original AR-15, I would say it's worth the full price of a new one. Ah mean, it truly is collectable. An original AR-15 is noteworthy. It's not made of fookin gold, but it's worth more than say, an old Bushy or PAW... |

I think 1100 to 1200 is reasonable for an SP1 in like new condition. Much more than that, no thank you.

But this one is about as "collectable" as used hubba bubba, the owner implies he has fired it, plus he has mounted something to the carry handle which leaves marks, plus he says that it has handleing marks on it, that adds up to a used gun, not like new, slightly more value than some other brands, but given its age and unknown history (how many rounds have been down the pipe, has the upper been swapped etc...) not much. |

The guy seems to be a clown, comes here asks the value, finds out, doesn't like what he hears, so he puts it up for sale, tells those he asked advice of that they know jack, can't sell it here so he tries to sell it after the ban has sunset, for about what he couldn't get for it before sunset.
