Follow the link to another link. Employees admitting to hiding or damaging the book.

You guys don’t actually HAVE to sell the thing!

Just “carelessly” hide the boxes, “accidentally” drop them off pallets, “forget” to stock the ones you have, and then suggest a nice Al Franken or Micheal Moore book as a substitute. Borders wants those recommends, remember?

I don’t care if these Neandertals in fancy suits get mad at me, they aren’t regular customers anyway. Other than “Left Behind” books, they don’t read. Anything you can do to make them feel unwelcome is only fair. They are the people pushing retailers to cut costs, don’t forget. And they would censor your speech, your books, your music in a heartbeat, so give them a taste of it!

   Don’t get mad, get even!

Yeah, that happened by the 4th or 5th comment on LGF. Real fast crash.

Thank god for Google's cache.

Some tree hugging vegan making $8.00 an hour in a bookstore.  Nothing to worry about.

This is some how unexpected?  Try to find any book of a conservative nature when it hits the stands and is a top ten best seller.  Talk about a buisiness that does not want to do buisiness.  Let these store, distribution center asshats lose money by pulling this crap.  Online companies can keep the profits they lose.

Thats funny, cause the Borders here in Avondale has them right out on the floor...

This is another one of those regional situations I think...

I looked for in the Prescott Barnes & Noble, while I was whiling away the Sunday before my 223 class started up. I didn't see it anywhere. It might have been out, it might not have, but I didn't feel like spending the time to look for it.

It wasn't out on the bestseller rack out front, I can say that for sure.

It was not out on or near the best seller rack at my Barnes & Noble at Meridan and Alamden Exp, San Jose. I will check behind the counter tomorrow.

Maybe I should go work at the local bookstore for a week or 2 so the same thing with Moore and Franken books, then use my few weeks of pay to buy mags.

Borders plays the most irritating music in the world, how the hell can you concentrate on a book when they have something that sounds like a yak being castrated playing in the background?

My local Books a Million was hiding it too.  I found it, thumbed thru it, then went home and ordered from Amazon.

At a local Borders here I went to get a copy and they were out.  There was a rack with the "Top 10" sellers in order.  They all had books in the slot except for "#1", which of course was Unfit.  I was going to ask the chik behind the counter if they had anymore in back but she looked like a hippie biotch.
