It's a large blue stamp with what appears to be Arabic writing. My Arabic is a little rusty or I would have translated it...

The Eid stamp was first issued in the 34-cent version on 01 Sep 01. It was reissued in the 37-cent version in Oct 02.
It has been beat to death on ARFcom since the day it was first issued, and is nothing new. The stamp commemorates Eid-al-Fitr, the end of Ramadan. |

Boycott an Arabic stamp? Now that's pretty stupid. I used to work with a few Arabic guys and they were very patriotic of America and one of them was a FAC for the USAF (like the special forces for the AF). Should I have not worked with him? Should I have been rude to him? He had nothing to do with what happened on 9-11. I cant believe how uneducated and ignorant some people are, and many of them are on this board. You guys know there are quite a few Arab members of this board? Should we not allow them to be members here? Now that would TRULY be un-American. (please not Aimless I am not saying this to you. I am responding to what your link has in it) |
