Sweet! WI is now even weak Bush! Unbelievable!
Of course I won't believe that Bush will get the state until the results are counted. IIRC Dukkakis got WI in that election |
I STILL say its all about PA and Florida....
Even if the rest of the swings are 50/50... PA + Florida = win for either side... - BG - |
Wow...WI is more Bush country than it was yesterday.....maybe tomorrow, it will be darker red...
I have truly believed fomr the beginning of campaigning that W will win in a landslide and that Kerry will be the Mondale of 2004.
GO W! |
I'd like to see us swing Illinois.
It just doesn't look right having that island of blue in the middle of the sea of red. |
+ 1 never stop fighting!!!! (and praying ) |

What is up with NM? They went for Gore by barely 200 votes in 2000 and now they are as deep blue as California, New York and Illinois? Did Bush run over someone's puppy there on a recent campaign trip?

Bush is closing the gap in Minnesota. Polls range from a dead heat to 7 point lead for Kerry. We're still in play.
Illinois automatically (due to Shitcago) votes for whoever best represents the Communist ideals. Many vote many times, the dead vote, aliens vote--it's all done here. Illinois is the originator of "dirty politics." LBJ was elected due to ballot box stuffing in Shitcago. It's very disheartening having a crooked prick like Daley in Shitcago as mayor. He is one evil sumbitch. Edit: Here's the site the map came from--put your mouse over individual states for numbers: www.electoral-vote.com/ |

I heard a rumor today that the Rasmussen (sp?) poll is showing that Bush has now pulled ahead of Kerry in Michigan. Does anyone else know if this is true? If so, have the dead begun rising from the grave or have the seas boiled over?

Bush won't carry Iowa. Wisconsin would be a tremendous surprise.
Iowa is iffy, Wisconsin will hold for Bush... Wisconsinites know cheese... so they know what stanks... and Kerry is Limburger cheese!

Keep hope alive in Minnesota. Do not let your state be known as Taxachussets North!

+1 Goddamn unions are killing this state. These unionheads blame Bush and the Republicans for the rotten job market in MI and OH and they don't notice that the right-to-work states with strong Republican control are doing much better. In another ten years, the only ones in the Dem midwest will be union members, public sector employees and welfare recipients. End of rant. |
Baring a national disaster, this trend will likely continue up to election day. Again...this is probably going to be a blowout for Bush.
Kerry was a shitty candidate from the start. Despite what the shrill liberals think and say, MOST of the country doesn't think like them...and won't vote for a loser lamehead bum like Kerry. Send the rat back to Massachusetts. They deserve him. |
Well I'm personally going to send a thank you note to seeBS and Rather, Dumban for their help in boosting GWB's poll numbers.

What is it with Colorado? |

What is it with Colorado?
Too many yuppies from the east coast! |
Again, I warn:
DO NOT GET OVER CONFIDENT. I am afraid some folks may see this as an excuse to stay home if they think we "have it in the bag". |
I agree. I fear it will be too damn close. I won't be sleeping well until this election is over. I just hope Bush gets four more years.... |
Nobody here is staying home. Hell I'll be working the polls as a state inspector to make sure no fraud goes on at a polling station deep in democratic territory.
I've done that too. Poll Watchers really get some hateful looks. |
Sounds like a good idea...I may do some poll watching myself...after all, I do live in FLORIDA... |
LOL, I'm not a poll watcher... although they serve a valuable purpose as eyes and ears for the party... I am a poll inspector, which means the police WILL arrest someone on my word that they are breaking the state elections law.
Please find a way to volunteer on election day. Call the county committee and offer to drive shut-ins to the polls if need be. Volunteer to bring meals to the poll watchers and inspectors so they don't have to leave the polls to go out to eat... volunteer to cover breaks or to work as one for the day. during generals I'm at the polling place at 5:00 in the morning to set up the polls... I work until 9:00 when they close. I then take readings off the machines, secure the machines and wait for the baord of elections to pick them up, and call in results to party headquarters. I won't get hom until close to 11:00 or 12:00 election night... and that's if I don't go to any victory parties after. Its a long day, damn long, and your help is needed from coast to coast. Get involved! |
Nope, too many Kalifornians trying to escape Kali and then trying to make Colorado just like Kali. Wierd, huh. |
Missouri is well on its way to red; Kerry is pretty much staying away now.
I'll drive the "shut-ins" to the poll only if they promise to vote Bush! |
While encouraging - considering the hole we were in a month ago- I am not yet comfortable
I hope W keeps his boot on that assholes throat, and does not let him up for a minute. ...............Keepin' the faith |
That is 100% accurate! The Kalifornians have driven the property values through the roof (an average house in Boulder is about $350,000) and they have successfully altered the political landscape! |

Breycor, your republican county committee will have a list of elderly republican voters, they also know whether these people have voted in recent elections... many often do by absentee ballots. Volunteer to hand deliver absentee ballot request forms to these people. Put a stamp on the return envelopes for the application and the actual ballot. Believe it or not, some elderly are on such a shoestring that they worry about postage. A week or so before the election call and verify they received their absentee ballot and remind them they need to get it in the mail.
If you know somebody deployed overseas, email them and make sure they are getting their absentee ballots and if they aren't call your closest republican Congressman or Senator and raise holy hell... do not let our service members be disenfranchised! |

A very poor state with a huge number of people on receiving some sort of welfare check. If you were in this situation, who would you vote for. A large Indian population, many of whom are just drunks and drug addicts who just live off the the federal handouts they recieve. The presidents plane also caused some runway damage when it landed at the small municipal airstrip in Las Cruces, NM a couple of weeks ago and they are still whining about that. |
