Man, can they make you want to do right by the them.

Then I woke up at 4:30 this morning. Brain would not stop working.

Obviously, my anger management needs some work.

Still.

I lost it yesterday over some pretty petty shit here at arfcom.

I was an asshole to one of the staffers here.

A small perceived slight to me set me off like I had no self control.

(Picture the retarded kid here in the special olympics)

That was me.

I woke up at 4:30, thinking, WTF, it's the fucking internet.

If my kids were old enough to understand what I posted, how amazingly embarrassed would I be for the things I posted.

I have edited them off of both boards.

I apologize to AIMLESS for my less than stellar behavior.

I would like to thank the staff for working on the problem. And thank those of you who supported me, even though it probably appeared I went off the deep end.

I did. It's nice to know I can count on my friends, even when I am acting like a complete tard.

Thanks guys. I owe you some brews.

Well damn, I'm impressed.

Sorry for the grief I caused you. Regardless of the circumstances I questionned yesterday whether anything to do with a website was worth the trouble if it could get a guy who, from what little I can tell on the internet, seems like a decent and pleasant guy, so distraught. I thought yesterday about this because I've never had a reaction like yours from anyone and I guess part of it is a lot of the persistent problems on the Equipment Exchange are guys who view the site as a side money making scheme, so if I kick them out, they got thrown out of the flea market for the weekend, I kicked you out of, maybe not your home, but at least banned you from neighborhood bar; I'll have to think about this one more in the future.

Anyway if a man's known by his friends I guess that says something about you.

As you said, it's the Internet. Don't take it too seriously. Everyday, I wake up, take care of the kids, do my work and errands, then turn on the computer, and say to myself, "Who's going to call me 'asshole' today?" [shrug] Not much you can do about people's reactions, other than brush them off.

Yesterday was a bad day on ARFCOM for me as well.

Think opening your mouth and not only putting your foot in there but actually trying to swallow your entire leg. THEN, realizing what a DORK you were and having to immediately apologise to quite a few people who you've just moments before REALLY pissed off.

It was embarassing.

Yeah. Need to zero it later when heading there. When B. is there, then 1000 yds range is not a problem. I'm learning as fast/much as I can.

I said something really stupid here once that set off a firestorm, and stupidly I dug in and traded insults, instead of objectively reviewing what I said.
I'm glad I didn't get kicked off the board for it, and I was impressed with how my contrition was accepted.
