Would a pic of me with my properly configured carbine celebrating the sunset count as news?

Thanks for the pics Lumpy.
That Israeli chick looked a little "light in the loafers" if you know what I mean... |
yet another writer that has his head up his ass. Good pics as always though. |
I'm starting to look forward to these editions of "Photos for Gun Nuts"
Thanks Lumpy, nice work as usual. |
WTF? I thought the ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN had expired... NOT the BRADY BILL! |
its a new "dual" Flash suppressor- even more evil than a single one
That is the barrel of a second rifle carried by someone not in the pic, maybe even the photographer himself.
Great pics as usual, Lumpy! Thanks! |

It's funny all the captions of the colts. notice all those magazines hold more than 30 rounds. How do they do that and still be only the size of a regular 30. How do they do that man.
I also think it's funny that they don't realise that you could use a 30rd mag in a "post" ban rifle too. It wasn't limited to just 10s. The media really didn't have a clue did they(not that they all of a sudden got one or anything) |

They do now! The guy in the red outfit also has an Uzi hidden in the big hat .... |

Its and 11.5" barrel that has a tube attached that allows the gun to fire rubber bullets for crowd control. |

Hey Lumpy, thanks.....great job as usual.
I do think that you could make my life considerably easier, if you would tack the pictures of the day thead for like 24 hours..... Pilk |
Is it just me, or does every photo of a Marine show them carrying an M4 with M203 attached?
Excellent photos once again, Lumpy. |
Sorry, my limited mod powers dont give me that ability.... |
At least one of those pictures has a Marine with an M249 ETA:M249 |

I say Lumpy needs a promotion. Who's wit me? Oh....BTW Thanks for the news and the photos. Cool. |

Great job, as usual, Lumpy!
Between the news media and the democrats, the average citizen doesn't have the first clue what the AWB was really about; subterfuge and bait-n-switch political games with our 2nd Amendment Rights. |
Awesome Lumpy
as a member of "the night crew" I always look forward to getting home from work and checking out the pics (I'm agreeing that the thread should be tacked though, by the time some of us get to see it it's gone down 6 or 7 pages, and for some reason we can't search the general section) Anyways, cool pics. Out of curiosity, WTF are we doing patrolling in NEWLY REFURBISHED schools? I'd think if they're so newly refurbished, they must not be under any sort of terrorist cell control or that of Saddam's regime, but hey, I'm asking because I don't know. |

These guys are not prissy. The palace guards are generally combat veterans whose units have finished their rotations in N Ireland, Iraq or some other shithole, and are quite used to dealing with tense firefights and crowds. They are not allowed to mix it up with tourists, and part of their training in the past has been how to deal with obnoxious American tourists who try to divert them. (I knew one guy who said it was common for American female tourists to flash these guys, just to get a rise out of them....) SOP when the firing starts, they drop the bearskin caps (which are bear fur stretched over a wicker frame- very light), take cover if possible, and start firing at the enemy. Their guns, shown "at the carry" in the photo, are always loaded, with one up the spout and a full mag. They are the first line of defence for the palace, and would likely be the first to sacrifice themselves for the Royal Family should there be another terrorist attack. There are also squads of armed police and soldiers in duty stations in the place and nearby, too. ETA: the guy out front with the checkered cap is London Metropolitan police. Some sort of spec. unit, since Brit. cops rarely carry guns. He's probably ex-mil. anyway. |
