well, what's your opinion on this? i really havent been following any of the elections except for bush/kerry and the senate race here with mr pete coors.

i worry more about them taking the house than i do the presidency.

No. Both parties have gerrymandered the districts that few seats are actually in play.

The only seat in Colorado in play is Beauprez/Thomas and Thomas is short of the cash he needs to compete.

The GOP will pick up at least 5 seats and maybe 6 this election.  We redistricted this year.  Out with the Martin Frost plan and in with the Tom Delay plan.  The Dems are still bitching.

Dems might take the Senate though.  I sure hope NC doesn't replace John Edwards with Irksome Bowles.

Not a chance.  This is going to be another wipeout for the Dems.  They are going to lose seats in the House.  The Senate will likely stay just about the same and Bush will win BIG.

Then, with painful howling of the damned, tearing of their hair and beating of their sunken chests...the liberals will begin sinking painfully into the abyss of the losers once again.

I can't fucking WAIT!

The Senate, maybe.  But the House?  No way.  The way House seats are apportioned and gerrymandered across the country, things are going to be pretty much as they are for years.

Quoted:
It is looking like Public Enemy #1 Daschle will be replaced by Thune.

Daschle is only running on the fact he is the minority leader.  Thune is very pro gun.   This would mean a Huge Change of the senate.

Everybody, quick, move to south dakota and vote!

No way for the House.

As for the Senate, us Floridians are mounting a solid effort to replace all-around asshat Graham with a Republican. Plus, IIRC more Democrat seats are up for re-election this election then Reublicans. Also note that last election, more Republicans were up for re-election then Democrats, and we still made gains. The Senate is shaky, but I think we're going to come out of it with an extra seat or two.
