Here's a cool pic of my ban sunset festivities.   I can't tell if the brass in the chamber is going in or coming out.

image is too low-res to tell if the bolt is extended in the carrier (ejecting), or not (chambering).

And get a real belt for shooting.

Brass is centered on bolt.

On its way out.

They say "a picture is worth a thousand words"...

Here's what that pics says to me....

The rate of fire required to capture 4 spent shells in the same picture, tells me you have a registered full auto, and it's unaffected by the AWB sunset...
-or-
You illegally converted your postban rifle to full auto...
-or-
You have the fastest damn fingers I've ever seen...

If that were full auto, there'd be a lot more than 4 cases in the pic...

Having shot a full auto, but under the complete pretenses that this particular rifle is indeed semi-auto,  I thank you for the compliment.

i've seen videos posted here of an AR-15 and M-16 racing side-by-side... a fast finger can be prety close to FA rates.

my finger is fast enough to get single shot bursts with an M11, with a 1,200 rpm cyclic rate... when i did it at the free sub gun class at Front Sight they thought the gun was stuck on semi or broken.

the distance between the first two cases in the lower RH corner of the pic, the case n the air above the rifle and the case about to be ejected is inconsistent...

here's a (link to) pic of me mid burst on a friend's '16, three cases in the air, evenly spaced (but looking at the pic, it probably needed a new extractor spring, or the ejector spring tuned... the cases shouldn't be scattered like that, but in a straight line ending up in a little pile)
