Point well made without need for insults!

Is this like mandatory gratuity?  hock.gif

I will as soon as I figure out what I want my avatar to be, but telling people to pay up may leave a bad taste in some people's mouths.  hinking.gif

i dont think i said"pay up"
it's just a recommendation, take it or leave it.
and power03 far as im concerned you can kiss all of team members (edited) . this isn't a post to strong arm people to join, but hey you like what ar15 got to offer, and you spend alot of time here. it makes sense to become a team member.

This is an invitation to join, you're not required but it would be nice. Servers and T1 lines aren't cheap. The Avilas are not getting rich on this gig(because those folks are getting ZERO money). I'm pretty sure that Goatboy will refund your money if you're completely satisfied, just return the unused portion. just kidding!

Every bit of information that went in to building my "perfect" AR came from this board.   I ponied up on the first anniversary of registering here.  Small price to pay to support the forum that kept me from making some BIG ($$$$$) mistakes while building my first rifle.

I just sent the check for my membership.
Since I've been a member to the site I've been picking up a lot of really good info from alot of people.
And some really good deals too. It's given me the opprotunity to find other peoiple in my area of NC that like to get together and shoot and just have a good time.
I have no problem shelling out for a membership at all.

Wow. 4K+ posts and not a member.

I got a guilty conscience at 600 posts.

IMHO, it's worth a measly $20 just to tap into the insight, humor, fucking silliness and knowledge that's contained here.

Come on-$20 is a round of beers, for Christ's sake.

When mine expires, I'll be upgrading.

1,000,000 thanks for those that run this place.

i have just been here a short while...

didnt know of any membership?

does this gain you anything, or is it just to help out the site?

just curious....

dil: Check the  "About US" section for membership grades and options.

$20 will at leat get you access to the Team Forum and there's some good stuff there from time to time that isn't, won't or CAN'T make it into General Discussion.

I just noticed a couple of new team members in another thread with sub-100 post counts (Giltweasel and voneigen88 or something like that). Rather cool. Most folks are here a lot longer before guilt or honest realization of value kicks in.

welcome to all.

i have been here for a lil bit , but the knowledge and information i've gained is incredible.
most of the people here are really cool. they are just regular people exercising their right to keep and bear arms. and what most of the population doesn't understand is people who rightfully own guns are paronoid about keeping their right. so there fore, they usually are much more responsible than the rest. imho
i am a fan of the black rifle and i cant get enough... there are so many different ways to build an ar. it's just a matter of how bad you have go the brd.

god bless our troops!

When I ordered my TriPower from Cal's they mentioned on their website that they no longer accept PayPal.   I replied to a confirmation e-mail and asked why and was informed that PayPal had some kind of anti-gun policies and even froze Cal's money for a while during a change over.  In the interest of my own laziness:  has PayPal changed their policy(ies)?

You could get a mag supscription for about the same price as a team membership. Then you get a mag every month or so that is half advertisements. Or pony up and become a team member.

Which has better and more information?

Ar15.com is the greatest  Black Rifle/Gun Community  On the web I Just Got My Gold Membership today But That doesn’t Mean That I Haven’t Donated any money to this Site.Waybefore They had Team memberships people donated money to this Site and I am Very Thankful for That. Over The Years I have Got so Many Good Deals On Ar15 Parts from members I have learned How to build many types of rifles and learned what’s legal an what’s not.  I have met other members at shooting ranges trading off Fire Arms to shoot. The members of this community somewhat Look out for each other Like don Buy From XXX dealers They are ripping people off etc.  But The Main Reason I became A Team member is  because the people are on top of gun laws They are all ways Voting on Polls and Sending Mass Emails to their Lawmakers If It wasn’t for this site I think The Gun Ban would Be perment now . When You Have Thousands of members of a community there is nothing you cant do.

Well that’s my $0.02

Well, now I don't know for sure if they still are because I get eBay listings for gun parts when I do Yahoo/Google searches.  I didn't ask the guy from Cal's how long ago they did that so it could've been several years ago.  Does anyone know if they've changed their policies?
