I think if it was US Marine Military police you would but since its just general it would be lower case?

Depends on the use. If it is a title then yes, otherwise no.

Ex: The military police in the Army use excessive force.
Ex2: The members of the Army's Military Police branch have a lot of pride.
Ex3: I hate military police.
Ex4: I hate Military Policeman Jason Smith.
Ex5: He is in the US Army's Military Police Regiment.
Ex6: He is in the military police.
