I'm not seeing any fewer Kerry signs in my very liberal neighborhood, but I am seeing more "W" stickers/signs!

Kerry must be sucking wind in a big way if I see so many unvandalized Bush signs in this county.

In last week's WASHINGTONPOSTWABCNEWS Poll, John F. Kerry was viewed favorably by 36 percent of registered voters, down 18 points over the past six months.

But just how low Kerry's standing has fallen cannot be appreciated fully without comparing his standing with that of other household names in GALLUP polls over the years, the POST's Dana Milbank reported on Tuesday.

Kerry finds himself in a dead heat with Martha Stewart and Joseph McCarthy, and behind Herbert Hoover -- although he narrowly beats O.J. Simpson.

Tony Blair: 76 (2003)
Pope John Paul II: 73 (2003)

Michael Dukakis: 47 (1988)

We have many days and hours before the election.  The liberal media will pounce on any misstep by Bush.  Kerry and Edwards may find issues that help them.  We must continue talking to our friends and acquantances and encourage them to vote for Bush.  We must win this election.

I like this comparison. Whatwas the prediction? Bush wins with 45 states and maybe California?

My prediction
Bush 55%
Kerry 40%
Other 15%

Liberals that can't stand either will likely go with other out of spite.
Liberals are loud and get air time, conservatives rarely speak except at the polls.

I forget the exact numbers, but there's about 35% loyal democrat, slightly lower % of loyal Republican. The big fight then is for the undecided, plus prodding the base to actually turnout.

At the most, 2% of America was truely undecided going into this campaign season..  Realistic nymbers were 49 Dem 49 GOP 2% undecided/other (excluding NON-VOTERS). The wishy-washy 'swing voters' had all made up their minds with a few exceptions.

Kerry ran such a DISMAL campaign, however, that he lost a good amount of that...

The die-hards are still there (~35% Anybody-but-Bush vote), the rest of Kerry's support will come from automatic-D-pullers who don't believe but vote because the Union says so...

Dukakis was never viewed that negatively he just seemed like the wrong man.

The sad fact of the matter is half the people in this country have below average IQ's and their vote counts the same as ours.
