I may be joining you!

Michigan is swirling the bowl, and I've always wanted to live in the desert.

Good luck sir.
I guess they have broken your will, huh?
Make sure you write a letter to Arnold and your state Reps explaining why you are moving.

Yep.

Even though I have zero interest, well maybe a tiny bit, in the .50, this latest law just sent me over the top.

I will drop 15-20g on evil stuff as soon as I can there.

I wasn't born a Kalifornian. I grew up here. Loved the state at one time, but the time has come for me to move along.

I've sent letters, emails, money, and phone calls to no avail.

I do appreciate Kali for a couple things. I met my wife here. I have owned 4 houses which through buying and selling them has given me financial security to do as I want.

BUT, the fight in me has gone in regards to the state. The legislation is beyond repair.

I will continue to fight from another state for my dissident friends still caught behind the lines, though.

Tactical Jew,

What field are you in? Does anyone know about the availability of jobs in IT in Vegas? Those Casinos have to be using computers no?

Hell, i'd work digging ditches if I had to. I just want outta here.

I have to wait about 8/9 months before I sell this place or else i'll be taxed out the ass.

Congrats.  Maybe you can help clean up that shit hole Las Vegas and bring them around to the way the rest of the state thinks.

Congrats!  I'm sure it was a hard decision but one you won't regret.  Vegas is a fantastic place to live especially if you have kids.

As for staying and fighting, the gun laws were only a symptom for me.  The problems/mindset they are derived from are far too entrenched to be "fixed".  This observation is coming from someone whose family has been in the State since 1858.  My son was the 7th generation to be born there.  I am sitting here in my office looking up at a picture of my Great Great Grandfather riding his horse in the 1st Rose parade.  My Great Grandfather, we found out many years ago, was the FIRST person to be Baptized, Married and have his funeral in the Olvera Street Church (the oldest church in LA).  There are at least 6 houses still standing around what is now Dodger Stadium that various relatives built themselves.  There are many other things that tie our family to the state but all of it doesn't matter now, the damage is too great.  Many of us have already moved or are planning moves.

Good luck to you and let me know if there is anything I can do to help.  If you are over here in the meantime, look me up.

Find some short term equity financing and buy here NOW.  The way prices are skyrocketing, even if you left you Cali house empty for 9 months, you would still be ahead of the game.

Good for you!
I traded in Kerry, Kennedy and Mass for Florida, Charley, Francis and Ivan.

Believe me, the last three are less pains in the ass than the first two.

Tactical_Jew: Congrads on your escape. Our fellow member Rich in CM, sold his place in Costa Mesa,Orange County, made a killing, and he's in Virginia.

But I'm with Paul though, the 50 cal ban won't affect me personally too much.

I lived there for 8 years and at first loved it.

But as time went on I became really jaded towards the state and when I met my GF it was enough to get me to move away to the arid wastelands.

I've been here in AZ for 7 years now and I don't miss PRK one damn bit. (Well, OK, I did enjoy going to the beach...but I got over it)

Sad thing is I LIVED in Az for a few years in my late teens to 21.

Some beautiful blonde college student tricked me into moving back to Kali. I bought my first handgun in Az. The gun shop was on Tempe rd. in a strip mall. I forget the name. I walked in, paid and walked out with gun.

Soon...

I know of 4 personally who bugged out and between the 4 made close to half a mil a year in salary.

On the board here, LT and DVD plus RichinCM bugged out.

Pretty soon the welfares and illegals will have to find work to pay for their free medical and cheese.

I bailed 28 years ago when I left to join the army and have never looked back. The more I read about California, the more I am glad I settled in a gun-friendly state.

I celebrated the end of the ban by ordering some hi-caps for my SIG from CDNN (factory used LEO marked @ $18.99 a pop) and I am getting ready to buy a collapsible stock for my Bushmaster as soon as I determine what manufacturer makes the best one (I heard most of them tend to by loose and flimsy when extended).

I already own a shit-load of 30-round AR mags, I pick up a couple of used GI issue mags everytime I go to a gunshow for $12 bucks a pop.

And WTF is a "Fab-10" ten-shot AR15?   What kind of shit is that? A ten-shot AR15 defeats the whole purpose of the weapon!

Get out of Cali while you still can or one day you will be defending your home with a "pump-action" AK47.
