Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - So who thought it would really happen

I talked to alot of people who thought the Sunset wouldnt happen and some who did.  What did you think and if you changed your mind when did you?

I figured it would sunset the last year or so, before that I wasnt always sure.

I think I realized that the ban was dead the day after the last presedential election, I realized that as tight as the election was no politician in thier right mind would want to risk getting involved in that kind of catfight that close to the election.

Edited to add: Of course there were many moments of doubt since then, but at this point I am fairly certain that the ban is dead.
