Does anyone know if SA plans on selling the M1A's with the preban style bayonet lugs? That would be a great addition IMHO.

Actually, the last few batches of bolts have been properly forged & heat treated...

It's the cheap, cheesey, cast extractors that are causing all the problems these days.

My M1A, #144,XXX, has a properly forged bolt, a USGI extractor and a 1964 TRW barrel. Tomorrow it will have a flash suppressor with a bayo lug.

I'm not sure...

You might want to the M1/M14/M1A page located in "The Armory" board here on arfcom & ask the question there.
