I was flipping threw the phone book trying to find something and I found about 10 pages of escorts.

I always thought escorts were for the most part, companions for a work party or other events where you fake a wife of girl friend.

anyways these ads are very obvious, "escort not a agency" "full service escorts" LOL I wonder what that means????

I see the cops nailing johns near work and chasing off nasty hookers, but I am suprised they don't crack down on this sort of thing. Or is it a don't ask don't tell sort of thing, you keep it out of the public eye and the fuzz won't mess with you.

what a strange country we live in some woman who have sex for money are bad, others are OK because they charge more???

I think I do remember one episode on cops where they took out a ad for a escort...

Since sex for sale is not explicitly promised, escort services remain legal. There are some people who'll pay the price to have a beautiful woman on their arm for social events. There are escort firms who cater exclusively to the sex trade. These firms are always subject to police stings, so operating with caution takes care of the potential legal problems they may face.

I was part owner of several years and years ago. They are legal because the girls sign a subcontractor agreement saying that they will not engage in any illegal activities. The customer is paying only for the girls "time" What the girl does is her own business. Depending on the girl and the amount of tip is what you get. Some escorts don't put out regardless.

I imgaine the legal grey area is that supposedly what you are paying the "escort" for is the time they spend with you - and NOT sex. If they end up having sex with you, it's because they feel like it, and separate from the $$$ you gave them - or some legal fiction like that.

Since I've never rented a hooker, escort any anything like that, I can't speak from personal experience.

They all seem to cater to that, if I needed a woman to come to a social event I don't think I would pick any of those naught college girls.

Seems like it would be too hard to bust the girls or the johns.

You need to visit Bragg. Escorts ads specidficly say "we cater to soldiers" I think everyone knows what this means.

I belive the cops look the other way in fayetteville as nobody wants to arrest a soldier getting laid after 12+ months in Iraq.

The smaller ones that say stuff like not a corporation or independently run are catering to the "johns" i am guessing most of that stuff is linked to organized crime?
