When my dad was in the Air Force he flew those for many years. I miss living by the base and hearing them roar over everyday. The sound of fighter jets overhead just makes me feel invincible.

That looks like a standard Nitrolon Surefire mounted there.  I have my HDS (Rem870) mounted with one in a standard 1" scope ring (workd great), and the standard bulb had held up to about 100 rounds 00 tactical buck.  I have seen alot of soldiers and Marines with conventional flashlights rigged as weapons lights.  I would like to get some feedback as to how well they are working.

If those two locations are fresh out, you may want to try the nearest day care or preschool.

What's with my last name being all over the place as of late? First it was the Rasmussen report, then this photographer Rasmussen guy. Wish I knew all of these people. Probably not related to a single one (at least not within a few generations). Kinda nice to see it's out there, though.

I wish I could post a frame from a FLIR video of a guy hanging a moon at the DZ here. Its funny as hell. Couple F16 pilots we knew told us they were coming over one night, low and slow.
