I posted yesterday about removing the fake telestock on my MT6400. The crescent wrench finally worked out without resorting to those fancy "specialty tools" that make life easy. Now for the fun that followed my success:
Step 1: Use wrong tool and scar the hell out of the old stock before you finally get it off.
Step 2: Unscrew the nut that is holding it on.
Step 3: Take a screwdriver to to remove washer thingy that goes against the receiver, then watch as the takedown pin spring goes flying across the room.
Step 4: Find the takedown pin spring
Step 5: Start unscrewing the stock from the receiver. After 1 turn, watch as the buffer detent and spring go flying up barely missing your forehead.
Step 6: Collect all of the parts and wait patiently until Sept 13 to reassemble.
