Went to a local race today. My 9 year old boy had never been to one before and it's been 20 years since my motocross days ended. Wow, time flys! It felt good to be there and we had a good time. Not much has changed since my last moto in 1984. It was a bit unusual to hear the sound of thumpers echo around the track but aside from that it was close to what I remember. The sport seems to be heathy, locally at least. There were a lot of kids and even a few female riders. It was a nice, positive family atmosphere.
