Went shooting this afternoon preparing for elk season.

Took my .45 Colt NewModel Blackhawk and daughter along.

Despite the heavy handloads I took daughter loved it.

Now she's laid claim to it.

Crap.

Then we went fishing. Didn't catch anything. But on the way home she said she wanted to go shooting again. Soon.

Guess I'll have to load up another couple boxes of ammo.

Good greif!!!

I was thinking you lost it, as in lost possesion of it by theft or misplacement.....

All you've done is identified a gift for Christmas time. Now  you have 3 months or so in which to find a similar weapon to give as  agift  if she likes it as much as you say.

Oh yeah. I only had to show her once how to unload the cylinder and ONCE to load one, skip one, load four. She has loading and unloading down pat. Shit, she shot ½ the box.

thought, I wonder if this guy is in Colorado (??)

and you were!

earlier this week, there was an alert on the radio at work (LEO) that a certain PO in longmont left his duty belt with side arm (1911A1 .45) over night in his car (IIRC).... well, you guessed it,..  next morning it was gone!!
