Theres a lovely young thing (well she looks younger than me, though considering I'm 42 ...) that is interested in going out with me. One problem is she has a boyfriend. They are not engaged and she said she is not going to marry him. A part of me is really turned off by this, while my Mr. Happy part says go for it since its been a long, long time since he went spelunking.

She aint married, shes interested, go for it.

But if you end up dating her, dont think she wont do it to you.  She WILL.

Hell no!  If she likes you enough, she'll break up with the other guy.  If she does, it would also be a sign of whether or not she has any class... Oh, and whether or not she'll cheat on you!

Hit it like the caveman, take pictures, give them to the boyfriend, tell them both good-bye.
He will be pissed, but will thank you later.
SHE WILL CHEAT ONCE, SHE WILL CHEAT ON YOU.
You can't trust someone you stole from someone else.
This is my standing rule:
If a girl I am dating/sleeping with goes for your pants, hit it, take pics for proof, spit in her face, and let me know I need to dump her.

its apparent she doesnt value her relationship. if you dont give her the bone then someone else will so for the love of god DO IT.  we expect a picture from your date. G-rated is ok but we will require proof.

Why not.....check it out, but don't fall for her unless she turns out to be a great gal. Take it slow and have some fun. As long as you don't let yourself get hurt, the worste thing that could happen is you get to knock off a chunk....nothing wrong with that

Does she have a boyfriend or is she just dating someone.  If she is dating, and is upfront about it, and says she sees other people, it  is one thing.   But if she is supposed to be in a serious relationship with the guy it is another.   But a lot of people are like monkeys, they don't let go of one branch until they grab another, which is what it sound like is going on.  She is going to dump the other guy anyway when mr right comes along.  Keep in mind the reason people date, to find the right person... It is ok to date someone and then not marry them.  I wish I had thought about it a bit longer before I married the first time.

Having had a girl tell me the exact same thing, all I can say is play it for all it is worth but know it will not last.  She is obviously not getting something she needs at home, but is emotionally tied to the boyfriend.  In the end she'll use her fling with you to stir up things with the boyfriend.

The whole "I'm not going to marry him, but I don't want to end it" line is an advertisement for a "Cuddle Bitch"!!!!

No need to be a dishonorable dog and back stab another guy.  If she wants to date you tell her to be upfront with her current boyfriend and break up with him first.

Shit like this is why I think dueling should still be legal...

+1 on you filling some sort of emotional need that her current dude is unable to provide.

(Can I call you "Daddy"?)

Just get her to be straight with you (I know, I know - a near impossibility with women) about how the other guys feels about her dating.  Of course, there's a 99.9% possibility that she'll be lying - but get in writing or at least on audio tape.

If she's willing to date you - she doesn't really have a boyfriend.  A lap dog or cuddle bitch, maybe - but not a boyfriend.  Be sure to tell her that (again, in writing or some other record that could be admissable in a court of law).

But get it while the getting is good.  She'll be on to to some other geezer in less than two weeks.

CARPE THE MOTHERFUCKIN' POON!!!

YES, you should go out with her as a friend, she is not engaged or anything so it's OK, just dont get attached emotionally, just because you date someone doesnt mean they have to marry you.

Most women won't take the step of breaking up with their current thing until they have their next step scoped out.  Almost all of them are opportunist in that regard.  They're conditioned to think of themselves as couples, they can't accept being alone to the same degree a man can.

A good rule is, at any given time count on half of their friends to be agitating them to dump their current thing, dating, married, engaged, whatever.

It's just the way they are.

Well, I agree with FA.  Most women I dated were dating another man when I met them.  Again, if she states it  is not a serious relationship, go for it.  Don't get attached to start. go slow and enjoy her company.  But go for it.
As for the "trust is a rare commodity" I agree completely.

As always, if you hit it, pooper and pics are a bonus.

Some people are like monkeys,  thats a good one.  I have met a lot of women that fits that.  Hit it and forget it.  Try to get it without having to take her out anywhere.  So you get free pie!

Actually having been at both ends of that sort of situation, its sucks to be the other guy and get sucker punched.

Its a TRAP!
