i have been buying .223 winchester 40 round VALUE
 packs , how good is this .223 ammo? is it down loaded or pretty good stuff for the bucks?

Recent chrono tests posted on the board indicate it's around 100-150fps slower than Q3131A. It hits to the same POA as Q3131A out of my rifle and the report and recoil are similar.

Works for me. I hit what I aim at. Not talking MOA but not bad. Plus cheap prices but sometimes you can fine better on the internet. But it's the shipping that usually kills you.

Whats the price on this. Walmart always seems to have the ammo counter abandoned here, I been wanting that clearence box of 40SW the got locked up and I still havent been able to get it.

I love WWB from Walmart. Shoots straight, clean and functions flawlessly. Buy all my 9 and 40 plinking ammo there.

I have shot thousands of rounds of it in various calibers, mostly .223, .40, and .45. Also .38's, .357's, 9mm, etc. Good stuff, it's accurate, reliable, and not as downloaded as other ammo. I found that the White Box 9mm had much better penetration through aluminium plates than the 9mm Remington UMC out of my Kel Tec.
$7.58 for a 40 round box of .223 at my local Wally World. Cheaper to buy the better XM-193/Q3131a by the thousand by mail order, but this way you don't have to pay $200.00 all at once. ETA: My 700th post!

I normally find other ammo cheaper then thw Walmart packs. They are ok knowing you can go get it at that price most of the time, but I normally hoard it when its cheaper somewhere like the 7 cases of 9mm I got during sports athority $4.49/50 sale the other week.

I've been buyin the Remington UMC value packs at Gander Mt. with 250 rounds 40S&W for pretty cheap, good stuff so far

Walmart also has 40 round White box .223 in 45grain varmint rounds for a decent price... and this is GOOD HOT ammo.... and extremely accurate too.
