Please let Michigan Democratic Senator Gilda Jacobs know your thoughts about her proposal to extend the AWB in Michigan, even though the Federal law will expire. You should email all of your state reps. and senators also if you live in Michigan.

Drew and Mike did a pretty good job of pissing me off this morning with their segment on it. Sent em an email with some basic facts, but couldn't get through on the phone. Too bad, i usually enjoy their show.

I sent e-mails to both or my Lisa Wojno, Steve Deida and Dennis Olshove yesterday.

Also, not to encourage complacency, but I believe that in the other thread someone posted a response from the President of the State Senate indicating that this proposal has no legs and will never make it out of commitee.

Write your reps and state senator anyways!

Phone calls, HANDWRITTEN letters, and one dollar donations to each rep and senator (even the Neo-Commies {Democrats})with a letter stating that you oppose a state AWB. Letters are sorted as to donors and non donors guess which ones get the most attention.

I would never support such legislation, and frankly, with the
republicans in majority in both the house and the senate, I would be
amazed if Sen. Gilda Jacob's proposal ever sees the light of day.

However, I never take anything for granted, such as my 2nd amendment
rights, and I am pleased that you are contacting your legislators to
share your views.

I live north of Lansing and went to Family Shooters Coral for the first time last week.
I wrote all the state reps. She was nice enough to email me back anyways.
