WTH???? - AR15.COM

Ok as I remember it the country singing group "Dixie Chicks" was chewed out for flashing peace signs at some award show( Can't remember what one) But then Kerry goes and yell to the crowd how the war was wrong and he gets cheered? WTH???? Did I miss something here? What changed between then and now?

We expect this from Kerry. We do not expect this from certain entertainers, the perception has always had country music as right leaning, thus the missives from the Dixie Slits came as a "surprise".

But as I remember it nobody defended the dixie chicks but nobodys trashing kerry for what he said. But I guess you're right.

You have to remember that the dixie chicks are a country group and country fans are mostly conservative, while Kerry supporters are mostly socialists.
