At a press conference today, British Prime Minister Tony Blair  has denounced the Terrorists for their atrocity in Beslan… unlike the mainland Euro's who are still 'demanding' an 'explaination' from the Russians.

"Blair expresses solidarity with Russia after school siege

LONDON: Britain is united with Russia in the fight to defeat the "terrorism without limits'' that devastated the town of Beslan last week, Prime Minister Tony Blair said Tuesday.

Blair told reporters at his monthly press conference that he had phoned Russian President Vladimir Putin to express "sympathy and horror'' over the siege at a school in the southern Russian town, in which more than 300 people died.

"We share Russia's grief in this dark hour for their country and particularly with the people of Beslan for the terrible atrocity they have suffered,'' Blair said. "We mourn with them and we express our total and complete solidarity.

"Whatever the terrorists do - and today we live in a world I'm afraid where this form of terrorism without limits, this form of extraordinary and appalling extremism can affect any country in the world - we are absolutely united in our determination to defeat that terrorism whether in Russia or anywhere else in the world.'' - AP

TOny Blair is one of the few Euro leaders who understand WTF is really going on.  Like GWB, and sometimes Putin, they know we are war with radical Islam who will stop at nothing to realize their aims.  As for the rest of Europe and for those voting for Kerry, they're eithr swimming the backstroke with Cleopatra down de Nile or blindingly stupid.

Tony Blair has really surprised me over the last three years. He started his career as a liberal/moderate shrill, but ever since 9/11 he has shown remarkable solidarity with GWB, even at the expense of his political base.

He's spent ALOT of political capital standing firm with America, fellas.

You are absolutely right.  He is a good man, regardless of his Socialist leaning economically in his own country.
