Was watching Law & Order re-runs last nite, and one of the police detectives said a 25 mm handgun was found that was used to shoot teh victim.
That would bigger than 50 cal, would it not??? I  Hollyweirdos. |

.50 cal is closer to 12.5 mm. An inch equals 25.4 mm IIRC. |

Bigger than a .50?
It's twice a .50. 25mm = 1 inch. .50 is 1/2 inch. That's a big pistol. Are you sure that the victim in this case wasn't the shooter?

That would be about 1 inch in diameter. Maybe one of those 4-gauge commercial duck-hunting shotguns from a hundred years ago?

I said to my wife, 25 mm is more like an antiaircraft gun Yup - ban 25mm handguns - for the children. I'll vote for it. |

I'd vote to ban a 25mm handgun in the interest of not having the shooter end up dead from the thing.
That makes me wonder... Woulda few well placed posts and emails (Million Moms, DU etc) actually get any publicxity on a 25mm pistol ban. That would be classic to have them start a campaign to ban a pistol not even made....
