Call Colt to double check serial numbers for pre-ban status. Mostly likely it is a pre-ban. It sounds like to have the transitional model that Colt was producing after the 1989 importation ban.

It would be a later blue lable. Earlier blue labels only had the bayo lug removed ne sear block no oversized trigger group pins.
This would be the worst possible gun you could buy if converting to a machine gun with a registered drop in sear was in the back of your mind. |
