[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Michigan game on ABC. WTF?

I was woodworking with my wife in the garage listening to the game, and we took breaks from the heat and watched the game on ABC.

It took about 15 minutes, but I realized what was wrong.

Except for the sideline girl, the whole announcer crew was not in Michigan. WTF?

How the hell can they announce when they are watching the same damn feed that everyone sees on TV? I may as well turn the sound off and invite a friend over to call the game for me.

Sounds smart to me...who the hell
wants to actually enter that godawful
"stadium". The announcers were
playing it safe by staying upwind.

You should have been here in Los Angeles where they kept breaking for updates on the circus out at LAX. The best part was watching UCLA get beat afterwards.

Michigan 43, Miami 10.

6 turnovers, 5 intereceptions, 1 fumble. All by Miami.

First true freshman quarterback Chad Henne started for UM. Threw 2 TD passes to Edwards.
