Originally, I was here to learn about AR15s. When I became a member, I didn't own one yet.

Now 6 years later, I'm here to enjoy the show and give my opinion every once in a while.

I was here three incarnations ago when ARFCOM was fun, you could post BOTD and talkopenly about sex, guns, shooting and all sorts of topics. These days I think our little slice of heaven has become bible thumping, sex hating , probably does not shoot much. I still like the links to funny stuff and someone occasionally sneaks a funny post by the fuddy duddy patrol.

Besides AR's are the best rifles money can buy.

I'm here mostly because of all the AR-15 info. Really! I always visit the AR section first.

Asides from that, it's just a cool place to be, and the people here (especially the team forum) have helped me out when I've been in shitty situations before. So it's good people that keep me coming back too.

Right now my contributions have been mostly my opinion , mixed with some advice if the topic is something I feel I'm qualified to cover .

Basically I stumbled in a couple of months ago . At the time I was doing Google on my next weapon purchase and this site came up repeatedly . So I started to read some topics and decided to sign up . I have already posted that I usually give myself 90 days to decide if a site is worth supporting with a paid membership . So far I enjoy the site and the whacko to normal member ratio appears acceptable

And once you weed through the BS there is allot of good info to be had .

It would also make it much easier to sign up if I could pay with a CC online , instead of having to use PayPal or snail mail .
