I don't think it's any problem under federal law, looks like it's a no no under CA law.
I'm no expert on firearms law, but as long as the overall length and barrel length are legal after the frame is stuck in the "upper." I would think it would be okay. That's why the company that sells those buttstocks that go into the rear of a glock selll them with a superlong barrel-so it would then meet the length requirements. |

i agree thats what prompted this tread. that and the damned stocs for glocks. personally i bought a pistol because i wanted a pistol. when i want a rifle i buy a rifle. |

I have one and love it. Very well made and heavily constructed. And there is nothing like having that big bullet actually go fast.
