EVERY Time I come to ARF and look at the topic and click, I have a "Starship Troopers" flashback of people finding the news...
See, I do not watch TV. I own a nice one, but only use it to watch DVD's. The Net is my source of informations, so all I know about how the Bush daughters messed the RNC is from the vidclips on foxnews.com. Such A Sad Life. Good on ya mate! I cancelled cable (and get terrible antenna reception) because I was really tight on the bills for a few months. I got used to it and my TV has only seen DVDs for the past year. I'm in a better financial position today and moving again. Wonder if I'll start it up again. |

But I've got you beat: I dont even have speakers or provisions for headphones on this computer. All my money goes to bullets, beans, and bandaids--in that order. |

I've been without TV for 6 years now... I only get one channel via broadcast TV with an antenna, and even that's fuzzy because I live surrounded by many concrete buildings... I don't much like TV anyway, but I can watch it for maybe 1 or 2 days a month at my parents' house. Other than that my home theater is setup for only DVDs, VHS, CDs, and Video Gaming. I've got the internet, and that's worth more to me than Cable... I can at least control what I'm seeing/doing with an internet connection. |
