It has turned out to be a good day for this gray haired old fart! I had several errands to run this am. I made a 25 mile detour and stopped at my favorite fun shop. Walked out with a new M1A standard model and ammo. I didn't start out with the intention of buying anything but oh well..... While I was there I noticed and had to fondle several must haves. 500 Smith and a DSA FN type carbine. BOBK

Peekay, I couldn't resist the M1A. Got a good price. I still want to get a DSA carbine as I always wanted an FN style rifle. Since CT will still have an AWB after Sept 14th I'll just buy battle rifles. BobK

Oh yeah, I didn't say it in my other thread, but congratulations. Someday I just might live somewhere where I am allowed to buy a rifle/carbine with a detachable magazine. |
