I'm network illiterate.

Just what kind of hardware is involved in maintaining AR-15.com?

Keep it simple for us truck drivers, please.

GB, you're still running on PowerEdge servers, right?   Get Silver contracts and ask for me if you ever have to call in.  ;)  I'll take care of ya.

Now, what exactly were the gerbils doing?

Well we have both lines of quality performance products.

At this time we have a half dozen HAMSTERS and another 2-3 GERBILS which help keeps things stable and efficient. Our goal is to eventually upgrade to a GUNIEA PIG and replace some of the smaller rodents.

This problem was actually caused by one of the Gerbils turning on our router and flooding it from inside with useless information.  We shot the Gerbils and ordered new hamsters to replace them.

I've got a couple of SQUIRRELS in the basement, if they'll help.

Is AK47.net more reliable than AR15.com?

I think there's enough squirrels around this place already.

Aww, this one's too easy

Everyone knows that AK47.net is more reliable. Due to it's loose clearances, it will continue to function even with sand and dirt dumped in it's case. You could even throw the server in mud and it would continue to work. AR15.com servers need constant cleaning and oiling, as they will fail if the slightest bit of dust gets inside them. Plus, the crazy network interface will send nonsense back into the case for every packet that gets sent out on the network. There have been some complaints that AK47.net packets are less accurate then AR15.com packets, but they are close enough to get to the client at any reasonable range.

Now, don't get me started on wolf routers...

Hey Matthew_Q, I have gold contracts on a dozen or so servers and I HATE calling for support.  Do you handle gold too?  BTW, remember the door you took off your truck and brought out to the Georgetown shoot?  It hangs on the wall a few dozen feet from those server.
