So I bought 1,000 rounds of Ammoman's XM1911 this morning, maybe around 7:45am. About 1 hour later I received my UPS tracking #. That was pretty damn fast! The only problem is....I DON'T OWN A 1911 YET. My name is Spitfire75, and I have an ammunition-purchasing problem.

That's ok Spitfire. I too have a problem. This morning I made a slight 25 mile detour and stopped by my favorite fun shop. 45 minutes later I walked out with a new M1A and 200 rounds of federal FMJ. Now I too have to place an order to AMMOMAN for M14 mags, more ammo and oh yes someone AR mags.

NO! You are in good company! While I was at the gun shop this morning I just had to fondle a few other guns. 500 Smith and a DSA FAL carbine. I love this madness!!!!!!

I have been toying with the idea of picking up a case of 7.62 ammo to help justify buying an AK...kinda like buying highball glass to justify making whiskey sours.

Life is too short not to indulge yourself once in awhile. When my kids were young I had to sell all my guns so we could buy a house. Now my youngest is in High School and the oldest is married. I'm finally getting some of my toys back!

Well I guess I'll stack the 1,000rds of .45ACP next to the 2,000rds of XM193 and Q3131A for the Fab10 I HAVEN'T BOUGHT YET.
(at least I have an LMT preban upper...I'm almost done with my M4gery project. All I need is a Fab10 and a lower parts kit.) |

HAHAHAHAHA!!! MAN! I bought 2,000+ rds. of 9mm because it was a sweet deal (very sweet). I do not own a 9mm weapon. AND I own about 12 standard capacity Beretta mags. All because I know that one day I'll have one.
Hahaha... and I thought I was the only one. |

Spitfire, go for it! A little bit at a time. That Fab 10 lower isn't cheap is it? But you'll have the satisfaction to building your own.

You're damn right it's not cheap. I need to win the CA lottery so I can pack up and retire (at the ripe old age of 28) and move to a gun friendly state like AZ or CO. But I have a problem...which one do I buy first? A Springfied PX9109L or the Fab10? I'd get to shoot the .45 more often.

Eh, I'll just drive to AZ and do some blasting with friends who live in Phoenix. It's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it.
