Although very illegal, this is a common advertising thing.

I've only seen it used for right-wing stuff on a few occasions.

I've seen a lot of Planned Parenthood stuff *spit* and crap for the Green Party *puke*

My dad did something like that four years ago or so (if my memory is correct), but with "Gun owners spend money too" or somethign to that effect. I know he had a secretary stamping money all day for a month or two. GOt to be where you could not purchase anythign in his town without getting some of his bills.

Why do you think it is illegal?
I know it used to be illegal to deface, burn etc.. U.S. money they changed the law as far as I know.
You can now destroy money if you want.
