My grandpa's funeral just ended a few hours ago...It started sat. morning at 8am...I barely got any sleep.....traditional cultural funeral.

My small German Ohio town also used to have super long mourning too. You would have eight hours of viewings and you would meet 90% of the town, then have a long funeral the next day and then spend hours with the relatives after that.

I prefer the city way of doing things, two hour viewing and short church service.
