What a cute pic! My daughter wants a puppy so much this Christmas, that she already sent Santa a letter asking for one. She is really good with animals, and I think they are good for kids. She has a hamster and loves him very much, but a dog would be a more active pet. Unfortunately we live in an apartment that does not allow pets. If we didn't she would already have a dog.

This is his little brother, more apartment sized. He doesn't swipe coffee tables clean with one wag of his tail...LOL. I grew up in the country and always had dogs, so I'll be the first to agree they are good for kids. Dogs are hard to deal with in apartments though, and other pets still fill the need. (Just as long as they aren't cats
 ) Kidding, I'm just kidding!
